Possibility begins with imagination

Hello my friend and welcome to Scrapy Land challenge #39 and for this bi-weekly challenge ends on April 17 and the theme is everybody's favorite "Anything Goes". Here is all the normal information you need to remember for each challenge. Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.   Please link your project back to this Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.
You have a chance to win a $15.00 gift card from Scrapy Land store.

I thought I would try doing a Mixed Media project and this is what I came up with. It is an 8" by 10" piece of canvas. The first coat is some Gesso and after that dried used some of Martha Steward multi surface acrylic craft paint. Added some Tattered Angel glimmer mists colors twilight, gold and meadow green. Perfect Pearls mists colors perfect pearl, deco art glamour dust on the flowers and in different areas of the canvas. Ranger distress crackle paint.
The frame you see in the background is from Ten Second Studios. If you click on the picture you will see the link to Ten Seconds Studios, these are different frames they makes and I got them for a fantastic price, but this is how they look in the package.

For coloring the sunflowers used distress inks fossilized amber, dried marigold, wild honey and rusty hinge. I stamped the sunflowers with Fun Stamper journey true fusion black licorice ink.

These are the dies I used. Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower stamp HCPC-3626
Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower die HCD1-753
The center of the faux quilled blooms is pearl pen color gold. The paper I used for the holiday greens is all from my scraps. You will see some finding I found and added to the project. Triple thick crystal clear glaze, glass bead glitter gel and some nail art stones. I was having so much fun.

My friend Marie gave me a gift and I wanted to surprise her and add some quilled flowers to the canvas. I started to run out of time so I only made a few. She gave me this wonderful gift not for any reason just because and I need to tell her how much I love it and how wonderful it works. For any one that has problems with their hands or has arthritis and loves to quill this is for you. I have not done any quilling in years but it felt really good doing it again.
I took a picture of what I call Earth Elements Texture. This is something that I make. I do make several different mixtures that look like different textures of the earth but this one I use for centers of the flowers. It is a mixture of pencil shavings, saw dust, browns, tans glitter, shades of rust, tan and brown ink refills want to be careful on adding the dark colors. This is how mind turned out.

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz and so is the lock and key.

I made some ladybugs with pearl pen red and black. If you look at the full picture you will see several. What I do is save some of my mounting paper and used that add a dot of red and black and after it is dry add some tiny black dots on the red.
I do hope I gave you so new ideas and you liked my project. Thanks so much for stopping by. If you have any questions just ask.
hugs and smiles,
Pat
