Hello Sunshine

The week has gone by so fast and it is time for another challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the twist for this week is anything goes. The sponsor for the month of April is PpinkydollsArt and Gina Marie designs. The image I choose to use from Ppinkydolls is called Girl with Kittens. On the front I did some stitching but I also did some faux stitching on the banners.
Along with Gina Marie Designs who is
giving this lovely X Stitch Rectangle to
one lucky U.S. winner this month!

Stop by Gina Marie designs it a small store and she has some great dies at really low prices.

The Spellbinder used to cut the image out is gold labels four. The background was done with watercolors. Two shades of blue and some purple.
All the papers used are from my scraps. This ribbon I found at Hobby Lobby. Added the purple gem stones

The inside I also did faux stitching with gelly roll pen color white and pentel slicci pens .025 purple and black pen and added some purple gems.

The Hello Sunshine stamp is from Stampabilities and the Kitties face I have no idea who made the face (sorry).
These are the copic markers used to color the image.

I think this image is just adorable and I want to try it coloring it again. The kittens are not easy to do. Now you need to honest, the kitten on the left looks like an Owl right???? Now be honest!!! It's a cute Owl, right?  I think it does and the other kitty does not look happy at all. Poor baby.
Thanks so much for stopping by, you are the best. Love everyone of the comments, they make my day really special.
hugs and smiles,
Pat

Betsy and the Unicorn

Another different kind of card for me and welcome to The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and the twist for this week is Tic Tack Toe and the graph is just down a little. The image I used from Ppinkydolls is called Unicorn and Betsy.
PpinkydollsArt
We have 2 sponsors for the month of April.
Here is a card Gina made with the die set.
The twist for this week is Tic Tack Toe.
On my card I used several of the squares but the main ones are Flower, Glitter and Brads.
The grid is a die cut and it is a friends, she had started to design the card but I had to change it. I cut the 4 squares out on the right side and added the picture of the image. That die has so many things you can do with it.
On the first roll. The small squares are punched out with McGill Creativity 15/16" deckle stacking punch and used it several times. The star is a sticker, Basic Grey brad, 2 buttons with yellow scrapper's floss and a paper flower with glitter on it.
I found this ribbon in my stash and made a bow and put it on some cork, next is some bling adding some stickles colors star dust and crushed pineapple.
Next is is another Basic Grey brad and a button with lime scrapper's floss.
Here are the copic marker used to color the image and the close up of the image. I did the background with watercolors. Added some Nuvo Crystals drops gloss white.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a super week end.
hugs and smiles,
Pat

Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.   Please link your project back to this Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. Remember to stop by and check out all the wonderful cards the design team made.

Have a chance to win a $15.00 gift card to Scrapy Land. The challenge is Bi-Weekly so it ends on May 1, 2016. This was a really fun card to make. The image I used is from Phindy's Place and the image is called "Sharing". The artist name is Philomena O'Neill and has been around for a long time. Thought it would be a perfect image of a little guy discovering something new in the Spring.
Directions to make the card take a 12" by 12" scrapbook paper (kind of strong) cut it 5 1/2" across. Take your score board and score at 2" and 4" and I turned my paper and scored again at 2" and 4". The middle will measure 4". Turn your paper around and measure up 2 1/2" from the bottom and mark the paper and take a ruler, from that point draw a line up (top) to the second score line and I took my cutter and cut that part off and do the same on the other side. For the folds, the first one is up and the second one is down. Now you can add all your goodies and make it your card. Have any problems let me know and I will be happy to help. If you make one let me know and I will love to come by and check it out.
This shows you the Spellbinders Floral Doily Accents die.
Instead of cutting out Cardinals I made them Blue Jays. The buttons are metal and I love the way the flowers are etched in.

Here are closer views of the Bloom one flower die. These are the left and right side. As you can see I add more glitter. The color are lime green, shamrock, yellow and true blue.
Closer view of the die cut of the sentiment.
The glitter paper for the Flutter butterfly, on the underside I colored it with Wink of Stella color Blue.
These are the colors I used for the image.
Close up of the image and some of the small butterflies.
Would love for you to join us. Thanks so much for stopping by. Here are the dies I used to make my card.

Hello

Hello, welcome to my blog! For this week I decided to do something really simple for the challenge that is starting at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the twist for this week is to use your favorite colors and that was really hard for me because all colors are my favorite so I felt like greens and peaches. My darling image is from our wonderful sponsor PpinkydollsArt and she is called lilith.
For this month of April we have 2 wonderful sponsors the other sponsor is Gina Marie Designs and you have a chance to win this wonderful die.
http://wholesalecraftingsupplies.com/ she has great prices stop by and see.
Would love for you to join us this month. Stop by and see the other designers cards.
I did some paper piercing and all my papers are from my scraps. I seen something kind of like my card on Pinterest and really liked the design so thought I give it a try.
Here is a left side view. The hello is from a Cuttlebug die.
I used one of Gina Marie designs embossing folders you can see it from the close up picture. The size is 5 1/5" by 5 1/5 " and it works great in my Big Shot. I tried doing some paper weaving but did not want it to be straight.
Here is how the inside turned out. Tried to bring in the theme by using some of the scraps. Of course their was a mark on the white paper by the time I was done so a peach paper to the rescue, their is always something!!!
These are the copic markers used to color the image.
The close up of the image. For some reason her nose looks like I put some white one it and I really did not?????
As always thanks so much for stopping by, things are well here and I hope all is well at your place. Spring is coming but not quite here yet. Flowers are staring bloom on the side of the house.
hugs and smiles,
Pat
