A little birdie told me......

A little Birdie told me...

Here is my card for Donna's Den of Crafts challenge. It is a sketch challenge. The challenge starts June 28 tell July 11, 2010. The prize this time will be a £10 gift voucher for Donna's Den of Crafts. I sketch is really easy. If you would like to stop by Donna's Den of Crafts and see what she has in her store you can click here. Now if you would like to join us in the sketch challenge you can click here.

A little bird copic markers

I'm sorry the picture did not turn out real good but these are the copic markers I used to color my stamp, the stamp is from Stamp Happen is called Robin by Carolyn Shores Wright. They have some wonderful stamps. The ink I used to stamp the image was Memento tuxedo black. The word stamp Happy Birthday is from Hero Arts. Stamp A little birdie told me is from CrackerBox Palace. Flower stamp is from CC rubber stamps.

A little birdie told me right

Trying to give you a side view so you can see the flowers. I'm going to try and tell you a little about how I made the flowers. I have a much closer view and they are really easy to make. Used Spellbinders Label 5 to cute out the image. Martha Steward punch called Doily lace trim, cut out two strips to put in the back of the bird. For the words stamped then with Brilliance Coffee Bean ink. For around the flowers and my images I sponged around with Brilliance orange ink. My paper was Die cuts with a view glitter paper was used for the leaves. Used Sizzlits from stampin up little leaves die cut. The bards I added some glossy accents and sprinkled some glitter called popsicle transparent ultra fine from Stamping Jazzy Style.

A little birdie told me saying

I really think the flowers turned out nice.

A little birdie tpld me flowers

I'm going to try and show you how I did then.1 cc stamps

These stamp are from CC rubber stamps and she has a lot more different styles of flowers. This is her Web site if you want to see what she all has http://www.ccrubberstamps.com/ and her phone number is 1-866-659-2354 if you want to call her and her name is Carol.2

This is what I used. They do not make Family Treasures any more. She makes a lot of stamps that match up with punches. I found the best place to fine some of the real old punches you can not fine anymore is called Punch Bunch's and this is there email address so I hope you will be able fine any punch you are looking for. http://www.franticstamper.com/punch_bunch.htm3

Stamped each of the stamps I have so you can see how they stamp.4

I'm sorry my name is on the bottom but I put my name on everything because I take things to friends. The punch matches up to the flower and all you have to do is punch it out. I punched then all out.6

I use The Tool, you can get it at CrackerBox Palace, it is for shaping and it brakes down the fibers in the paper.8

I take the other end of my shaping tool and I press in the middle and it pops the flower up.

9 10

Once the shaping tool brakes down the fibers it makes the paper shiny. I have shaped all of then. The next step is if you want to put something in the middle.14

You can use glitter, stickles, beedz (glass embellishment), It is all up to you. So I hope you enjoyed this and you understand. As always if you did not let me know and I will get back to you with any questions you may have. Have a wonderful week.
